Cemetery Weddings aren't just for Halloween
It may sound unusual, but cemeteries as wedding venues are a fast-growing trend. And why not? They have the land and the facilities. In Kitchener, the Williamsburg Cemetery even hands out material at wedding shows offering their unique setting to newly engaged couples.

The site with its ponds, extensive landscaping, a long bridge snaking across the water, a wooden pergola and gazebo are quite inviting. The restored chapel is made of reclaimed honey-coloured brick, fir beams from the Newlands Textile building in Galt, and features a simple wood and white interior. The soaring ceilings with a wall of windows that look out onto the fountains offers a simple, old-school magical vibe for your ceremony. Check out their video and consider the possibilities for your own wedding.
