    How did you meet?

Ryan and Tori met through friends one night out at a pub.  Unknown to them, they were walking into a blind set up, courtesy of their friends.  Ryan and Tori spent some time talking to each of the people at the table until they started talking to one another.  & Once they started talking.. they had pretty much tuned everyone else out at that point..

    Describe your engagement?

Ryan was vacationing with Tori and her family up north at a family cottage.  It was a treasured childhood memory for Tori, and a family tradition to visit regularly. Prior to the trip Ryan had planned to propose to Tori at the cottage, by meticulously crafting his own ring-box (by hand) for months prior.

Ryan had a nervousness to his voice one evening while striking up a conversation with Tori’s father.  He showed Tori’s dad the ring box he had made, and had Tori’s dad’s consent for his big plan the following morning.  Tori remembers Ryan waking her up early in the morning and convincing her that they ‘had to go out on a walk’.  Too tired to go anywhere, Tori laid there until Ryan literally dragged her up – onto her feet, and brought her outside.  They sat on some rocks, talked about their future, and Ryan pulled out the ring box.  Ryan asked Tori to marry him by using some tasteful lyrics from a song they both cherished; A Woman Like You by Lee Brice.

    Describe the wedding:

The wedding was a dream come true for Tori, she recalls some of her favourite memories starting first thing in the morning – when her and her bridesmaids all stayed the night together, and woke up and had breakfast and got ready together.  The first look with her Father was also a cherished memory of the day.  She only remembers seeing Ryan when walking up the aisle, and the rest is history.

Ryan enjoyed a morning shave with his groomsmen at Black Beards in St. Catharines.  Another memory he was fond of was the rehearsal the night before.  After the rehearsal him and his groomsmen, amongst friends, all hung out around a campfire. They both enjoyed the atmosphere, as well as all the funny and joyful speeches everyone had to share.

Tori: The flowers, the decor, the locations.  Especially the classic hot rod they had during the ceremony.
