My Big Fat Greek Wedding is at it Again
Part of planning your wedding is getting your hands on every wedding movie ever produced, for research naturally, and for those moments when you need to kick back and have a good laugh or cry. The stress of the planning will inevitably creep in and that’s when you know it’s time to bask in the glory of all things movie weddings. (Netflix and chill?)
And if you’re a fan of wedding movies (really, who isn’t?) then you’ve probably seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding, released back in 2002. (It’s the highest-grossing wedding movie—and romantic comedy—of all time!)
Well, the family you love is back! This time the plot focuses on Toula (Nia Vardalos) and Ian’s (John Corbett) teenage daughter, Paris, who is trying to decide where to go to college. And what’s a Big Fat Greek Wedding movie without a big fat Greek wedding? Turns out that when Toula’s parents got married, the priest never signed their marriage license so they’re technically not married. What should they do? Have an over-the-top epic and extravagant Portokalos wedding, of course.
Due to hit theatres in March 2016.
