Matt and Kya are a couple from Australia who wanted to get married, but were struggling to put their wedding together. Matt went to local radio station KIIS 1065, where he talked about some of the things his fiance was dealing with, like her mother’s suicide and raising two children. After hearing their story, the DJs announced that the radio station would be giving the couple an $80,000 wedding.

“Money had always been tight for the young family from Sydney’s Revesby, with Matt unemployed, but after the sudden death of Kya’s mother in 2012, it looked as though their plans for a small wedding with family and friends may never happen,” the radio station wrote in the video description.

After their walk down the aisle, Matt and Kya had one more surprise waiting for them. When it was time for their first dance, none other than Ed Sheeran walked into the room and proceeded to sing his latest hit “Thinking Out Loud” (the ultimate wedding song!).

“When Ed heard that we were helping to organize a special wedding for two of our deserving listeners, Matt and Kya, and that they had chosen one of his songs for their wedding dance he offered to come and surprise them and give them a wedding gift they will never forget,” KIIS said.
