A geeky themed wedding usually means over-the-top details with in-your-face cakes, floral arrangements and costumes. But it doesn’t have to be that way, as Jennifer Landa has so beautifully pointed out to us. Jennifer is a big Star Wars fan and she wanted to incorporate a few details from her favourite film without losing any elegance. And she managed to do just.

Aside from the Storm Troopers (who were actually two friends dressed in immaculate costumes), Jennifer says her favourite Star Wars detail was the homemade belt she wore to the reception. She also had a Millenium Falcon sitting atop a bed of white flowers, as if it was floating among clouds. The flower girls’ look was inspired by Princess Leia and instead of opting for a Star Wars themed cake, Jennifer chose to go with a Tauntaun and Wampa cake topper (it even had a veil!).
