Personalized Favors Your Guest Will Use

If you have been to a lot of weddings, chances are you have seen your fair share of favors that end up in the trash. Maybe it’s because guests are just picky, but why not give them something they will actually use and not just something to remember your wedding by? Ditch the trinket crystals or candles that have your wedding date on them and check out our list of fun, useful favor ideas.

Lip Balm

Everyone uses, and loses, lip balms so this is a great idea for a favor. They are relatively easy to make too, with only a few ingredients, and not that costly since you will be making a lot of them. Experiment with fun flavor combinations like lavender-ginger or white tea and melon.

Instagram Coasters

Coasters get a bad rap as wedding favors but not if they are homemade with photos of your guests.  Again, these DIY favors do not take that much time to make since you are only sealing photos onto a ceramic tile. The trick is finding good photos of your guest – with their names printed on them, these can double as place cards.

Candy

Indulge your inner child by putting together a bag of candies and treats for your guests. Have an assortment of candies, cookies, chocolates and treats so that everyone will find something they like. Extra points if you can find retro candies that you and your guests had as children!

Photo Booth

In lieu of having something ready for everyone, why not just set up a photo booth? This is a good idea if you don’t have time to plan anything beforehand and will give your guests something to do during a lull in the reception. If you want a favor that requires no prep work, this is the way to go.
